- I can't comment on AOL disk being used in FD drives as I only have a
- 1581, but I will say not to buy cheap disks for use in the 1581. I
- bought a value 50 pack about 5 years ago and all I got was read
- errors. I even threw the damn drive in the closet thinking it was
- busted.
-
- Of course I know that was stupid, but it was real upsetting to keep
- losing data. I then cleaned it up and bought only brand name disks and
- have never had a problem. Never had a problem with Fugi disks, sony
- and dynsty are ok, once in a while I have a problem, but my 1581 seems
- to like fugi disks.
